Disney Hollywood Studios Allows Fans To Carbonite Themselves

In just a few weeks, May 18th to be exact, Star Wars fans will be able to experience the legendary movie like never before. It’s a four-weekend shindig that includes a wide range of activities and one the key events include the Carbon-Freeze Me Experience.
This fun experience allows fans to relive the legendary scene. How does it work exactly? There are several cameras that will capture multiple images which are then reconstructed to be processed and create an eight-inch replica of yourself. They’ll also throw in a glowing bracelet.
The carbonite figures retail for about $99.95 each and that doesn’t include shipping. If one figure isn’t enough, you can order additional figurines from the same scan for just $74.95 each. Star Wars Weekends won’t officially open until Friday May 18th and reservations are required. Check out the vital legal tidbits below:
Please note – Separate Theme Park admission required for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. No discounts apply unless otherwise noted. Guests must be at least three (3) years of age to participate. A valid accepted credit card number is required at time of booking. No-shows or in the event a reservation is cancelled within 48 hours of scheduled experience will result in such credit card being charged a $25 cancellation fee. The experience, due to its personalized nature is non-refundable and not eligible for an exchange. Children must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age or older during the entire experience. Certain restrictions may apply.
