David Archuleta Tweets About His Transportation During Mission
David Archuleta is currently in South America right now for his Mormon Mission and he made sure to tweet a message out to his manager to let him know about the type of transportation he is taking.
His manager let fans know by Twitter the message he left. David had to get in a taxi twice, and both times he had some great conversations with the taxi drivers. The first taxi driver asked him how his day went and how work was going and then he asked them the same thing. It was a fairly odd moment, but it is nice to hear from David. The runner up from the seventh season of American Idol announced in 2011 that he would be taking a hiatus from music and pursuing being a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Letter Day Saints. Being a missionary has meant being cut off from the digital world and he only gets to be online once a week.
While his photo has been snapped when he went through his training. But have no fear according to Archuleta’s official site, he will release a brand new album titled “Begin”, on August 7, 2012 in the United States. The album will consist of original songs as well as cover songs. Will you be glad when David returns from his missionary work?

David always tweets about the most random moments. That’s why he’s the most fun person to follow on Twitter. I can’t wait for the release of his new CD on August 7. I’m dying to find out what BEGIN. stands for.

I will definately be happy when Archie returns. I cannot believe the LDS Church allowed him to endanger his life on a Mission. He could convert many more times over doing charity work as a superstar. But thats Mormon culture for you. I can tell you he is going through major withdrawl right now I am sure. But I hope Archie finds what he is missing. Yours in the Gospel. DVKEATON

What I got from the tweet was that David’s ability to understand spoken Spanish is improving. He has always chatted with English-speaking workers wherever he’s gone. He chats with chefs at restaurants, security guards at venues, a janitor at a school. Now he can do that in Spanish too and that’s nice. If you’re on Twitter, David is DavidArchie there. I love his Philippines album Forevermore (classic Philippines love songs, 9 or 10 are in English). And his album BEGIN. is due out in Aug 2012.

Sure I’ll be glad when he returns, but I’m also glad he’s out there serving others.

I’ll be here waiting for David to return in 2014. I am so happy that David is following this path. He has given so much of himself to his fans over the past 4 years and now it is time for him to grow spiritually. He is an amazing artist and I admire his dedication and character. Not many 21 year olds with his talent would take a 2 year hiatus from the entertainment field to have a deeper relationship with our Heavenly Father. I am a fan for life!
