Tony Romo and Candice Crawford Become Parents to Hawkins Crawford Romo

By on April 13, 2012

Dallas Cowboys Tony Romo and his wife Candice Crawford have just welcomed their first child. A boy named Hawkins Crawford Romo was born on Monday to the happy couple. His teammates made the news public via Twitter by sending their congratulations to them. Tony married Chace Crawford’s sister back in May 2011. The couple was reportedly excited for the baby leading up to the birth.

I am so happy for them. I think they make a lovely couple and I have no doubt that their baby is even more precious than the picture. I am sure it awkward since his ex Jessica Simpson became pregnant around the same time and is still currently pregnant. However, I have no doubt that they all have respect for each other. It is a big change for the newlyweds, but they will likely deal with it like pros. I am sure Tony and Candice will make great parents by far.

Are you happy about this news and the baby’s name? I am not crazy for the name Hawkins, but it is better than some of the other celebrity names we have heard of. I do think that he trio of surnames will make the kid feel strange in the heartland. Now if they move to LA, he will fit in well. I personally think they could have chosen a more normal and acceptable name considering where they live. Hopefully though, I am wrong about him having issues due to his name later on. The name could grow on me and I am sure he will have the best education that can be bought. But I do pity such a cute and tiny baby to have to deal with such a large name. It could be overwhelming for such a little guy like him.
