Taylor Swift Nominated for Three CMT Awards
Country starlet Taylor Swift is nominated for three awards for the 2012 CMT Music Awards. Of course this will mean Taylor will be looking to all her fans to help vote for her in the categories she is nominated in.
Her video for Safe and Sound featuring The Civil Wars from the Hunger Games Soundtrack is in the running for both Video of the Year and Collaborative Video of the Year. Meanwhile, her song “Ours” is up for Female Video of the Year. Fans can go to vote up until Monday, June 4th at CMT.com. Of course Taylor will have some competition for the awards with Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert ringing out the top nominations. Carrie Underwood also is up for female video, CMT performance and collaborative video of the year. Miranda Lambert is up for female video as a solo artist and for group video and breakthrough video for Hell on Heels with her friends Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe in Pistol Annies.
Other artists with three nominations include Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton, Thompson Square and The Civil Wars. Other video of the year nominees include Aldean’s Dirt Road Anthem, Kenny Chesney’s You and Tequila with Grace Potter, Toby Keith’s Red Solo Cup, Lady Antebellum’s We Owned the Night, Rascal Flatts’ Easy with Natasha Bedingfield and Shelton’s God Gave Me You.
