Skateboarder Tom Schaar Talks Life After Fame
12-year-old professional skateboarder Tom Schaar has set a huge record. He has made the first ever-recorded 1080 landing, something that other professional skateboarders have not made. He was caught up with at a movie premiere of
I have to say that he must be so proud of what he has achieved. It cannot be easy for anyone to do what he did, let alone for a kid. That is something to be extremely proud of and I am sure his family is proud to call him their son. He seems to know where he is going and within a few years, it is possible that he might be able to retire. That would be an amazing gift for him, but at the same time, it will likely not be an easy call to make. Being 12 makes him more than likely to enjoy working and bringing home some spending cash at long last.
How do you feel about his thoughts? Is this an exciting time for him, or not? I think for anyone it is, let alone for someone as young as he is. But at the same time, it will only push him further into fame. I think he will find himself covered in gigs and advertising contracts now. I am not sure if that is something that he is wanting to do yet in his young age. He is about to be a teen and I am sure he does not want to spend his teen years working non-stop. Can you blame him for that or not?
