Selena Gomez & Ryan Seacrest Partner Up

By on April 23, 2012

Selena Gomez has been working UNICEF and other charities for a long time, but she has now joined a new one! Ryan Seacrest has asked her to be the first celebrity ambassador for his Ryan Seacrest Foundation. He brought her on air to talk about her newest project and a fan experience she had via his foundation. You will find the video down below if you wish to hear their next project and for Ryan’s description of Selena’s big heart.

I am so happy that she does so much giving back. She has proven herself to be someone who knows that as a person with her level of success that she should give back. Not many stars are as active as she is with them and she still manages to do her other work while being attached to so many side projects. She certainly has made sure that she uses her career as a way to make the world a better place. I do hope that she does take some time off for her own benefit, since she can only give so much without it taxing her.

How do you feel about her joining Ryan’s foundation? I think it is a great for her, as well as great for his foundation. I am sure more people are going to know just how serious he is and will likely be more willing to donate to know that a well-known celebrity is tied to it. I do wish that Selena went into more detail on why she said yes. She already has so much planned with UNICEF and acting, it is hard to see where she finds free time for this job. However, I do think she is careful with her timing since she has before stated that her mother makes sure she takes time off. So hopefully that she rings true for her.
