Michelle Obama Honors Taylor Swift At KCAs

Michelle Obama recently joined Nickelodeon to help give The Big Help award at the 2012 Kid’s Choice Awards. Taylor Swift won it, but Michelle Obama was there to give the big award to her for the great charity work. Taylor clearly appeared to be moved and honored by it, let alone to be given the award by the First Lady was icing on the cake. I am so happy that Taylor was given the honor. I think she is one of the few celebrities who really have done so much charity work. From giving money to help schools rebuild to helping her hometown of Nashville rebuild from the flood, she has certainly worked hard at it. I always have loved that part of her and I hope that we will be able to see more of this kind of work from Taylor as time goes on.

Are you glad that Taylor won? How do you feel about Michelle Obama handing out the award? I think it was a nice touch that helped make it that much more special but I don’t think that was the real big key here. The actual award is the huge deal for her and what everybody will pretty much talk about for the whole next week. Which I am sure will please the network, Taylor and even the First Lady since her outfit will likely be talked about for a while.
