Leighton Meester And Blake Lively In Gossip Girl Preview for Salon of the Dead

Gossip Girl is gearing up for the upcoming final episodes of the season. Now we have the official preview, director’s preview and clip of the April 16th episode called “Salon of the Dead”. You will find all of the videos down below this post. It should also be noted that this episode takes the Dair storyline one step further! You will see that via the official synopsis of the episode, which is below this paragraph. Here it is-

Blair and Dan go public as a couple by hosting a salon. Meanwhile, Lola gets to audition for a coveted role; Lily and Rufus clash over how to deal with Ivy; and Serena and Diana have a confrontation about secrets they don’t want divulged.

It sounds like this season might end in a way we did not see it happening! I wonder how Leighton Meester feels about her character being with Dan? They by no means seem like they would last, but it shocks me that they have made it this far. I still think that they are more of friends than anything else. But I won’t deny that I am pro-Chuck and they seem like they were made for each other. For the show to take it in a different route makes no sense at all in my opinion.

How do you feel about this direction? I am crazy, but it does make for good entertainment. Hopefully we can expect for Blair and Dan to wake up to reality soon enough. It seems like they are doomed, even if they don’t see it yet. Plus Serena cannot pretend to be happy and supportive of it since she has always liked Dan. And like Blair, her lifestyle doe not fit with his personality. It wouldn’t make a good relationship with him or anyone like him. What do you guys all think?    Gossip Girl is totally centered on Dair these days. eugh.

   I think Dair is the best thing that could have happened to this show. They seem far from doomed to me. On the contrary, I think they could be endgame. Blair and Dan are the only two characters on the show who have high EQ’s and IQ’s both, everyone else seems to have one or the other. I am absolutely loving this new storyline, and it’s making even Chuck more interesting than before – I always liked him with Eva anyway.
