Justin Bieber Has Sold 300,000 Copies of Boyfriend
Justin Bieber has something new to celebrate as his single ‘Boyfriend’ has sold over 300, 000 copies.
The single was just released this week however manager Scooter Braun was hoping for 500, 000 and have mentioned that it is still their ultimate goal. Boyfriend currently holds the number one spot in the iTunes singles chart in 31 countries, according to a Twitter update from Bieber on Wednesday. This is Bieber’s best sales week to date according to Billboard and his last record was for his single Never Say Never last year. If things go well for the teen heartthrob, the track could earn the best sales week of the year for a single, surpassing American pop star Katy Perry’s “Part of Me” last month, when it received 411 000 downloads. His highest-charting tune on the Hot 100 to date is Baby, which debuted and peaked at number five in February 2010.
Now that the single is out it shows how far Bieber has come since his earlier pop incarnations. “Boyfriend” isn’t only the start of Bieber’s next phase. It’s also a new dawn for pop. This gives us a myriad of reasons why millions of girls worldwide would be elated to call him “Boyfriend”. Have you heard Boyfriend yet? What do you think about the new single?

I don’t like the music. Sorry, but after comparing the two, “Boyfriend,” song, from different artist, like: Big Time Rush and Boyfriend (KPOP Group), Justin Bieber’s music, isn’t good. He shouldn’t rap, he’s a wanna be rapper. His rap is horrible during the song and his lyrics doesn’t make sense, compare to the other two versions. I can see that Bieber, just wrote, “Boyfriend,” lyrics to get out of boredom. I’m sorry if I’m offending his fans, but that’s the truth. I used to like, “Justin Bieber,” was a crazy super fan myself before, but as he grow up, Bieber is lacking harmony and his passion of music. He needs to improve, his writing lyrics if he wants to make, through the music industry. Yes, I had listen to the song first, before coming here. In fact, I have listen to the song twice, before writing this review.

I agree 110% with you! it’s not catchy or even good at all. it’s boring. the lyrics are not good, sounded like it was a 13 year old that wrote it. It lacked emotions, and it is wayyyy too corny for his age. I used to be a bieber fan myself. listened to all his songs and so on. and i think he’s an okay singer really, but compare to other huge singers like Adele, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars and even Usher.. he is definitely average to below average. Maybe people think his voice was girly when he sang “baby” but i prefer his vocal abilities then compare to now.
