How To Rock Casts Talk Dorks & Childhood Memories

By on April 1, 2012

Nickelodeon has a new hit series How To Rock, and it features Romeo’s sister and others showing off their musical talent. The good news is that it is popular and M magazine asked them all about how they were dorks before. The whole main cast answered and gives everyone perspective about what it is like to be a “dork” even if you are now famous. You will find their answers in the video down below this post.

I am so pleased that they have found success with the show. I wasn’t so sure since it seems like so many of these shows are popping up and it really isn’t all that different. But they did and I have high hopes that they will have a second season. We all know that they have talent, so to learn that they were regular kids and teens should help make them that much more likeable. Or at least that is something that would have made me feel better back then. It does come as a handy reminder that famous people are also human and has their dorky sides as well. I think many people forget that and this could be a helpful tool for today’s teens.

How do you feel about the series? Is it as good as the rest of Nickelodeon’s shows or not? I think that it is clever and cute, but not their strongest. I do like how they are bringing someone who is unknown to the industry and they also have another set of musical talent to share with the world. We know that they love being able to compete with Disney. This is just another example about how they now want to find a way to have their own double or triple threats. I will say that it looks like they have a great start right now for it.
