One Direction Performs on Today Show

One Direction made quite the entrance when they performed live on the Today show on Monday.  The British boy band arrived on a double decker bus before launching into ‘What Makes You Beautiful” from their album Up All Night.

The band invaded Rockefeller Plaza in New York City for their first appearance on the morning show also graced the crowd with a performance of ‘One More Thing’ and ‘More Than This’.  One Direction’s debut album is set to be released on Tuesday March 13.  When asked what would happen once their LP drops the group claims that they really have no plan.  The X-Factor alums have taken their potential new fame all in stride saying, ”We’re just going to keep doing what we’re doing and see what happens.”  You can check out their performance below, but there is another chance  to catch them perform at the 2012 Kid’s Choice Awards on March 31 and on Saturday Night Live on April 7.

One Direction is a British- Irish boy band who finished third on the seventh season of the X Factor.  Following their loss they signed a record contract with Sony Music subsidiary Syco Records.  What do you think of this?  Will you be picking up their first album?
