Selena Gomez Now In for Hotel Transylvania
It looks like Selena Gomez is adding another role to her list this year, the singer and actress has replaced Miley Cyrus in the film Hotel Transylvania.
19 year old Miley was originally tied to voice Mavis the young daughter of Dracula. Rumours have been swirling as to why Miley dropped out of the project, but a source comments that people drop out of movie’s all the time. Hotel Transylvania is certainly more Selena’s brand of work, as it is an upcoming 3D computer-animated film that is to be produced by Sony Pictures Animation for Columbia Pictures and is set to be released on September 21, 2012. The film is being directed by Genndy Tartakovsky is best known for his work on Cartoon Network’s Samurai Jack and Dexter’s Laboratory. Hotel Transylvania will also feature the voices of Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Fran Drescher, Cee Lo Green, Molly Shannon and many more.
The movie is based around Dracula (voiced by Adam Sandler) is an owner of Hotel Transylvania, a five-star resort for the world’s monsters away from the ordinary world and invites some of the most famous monsters to celebrate his daughter Mavis’ 118th birthday. Unexpectedly visited by Jonathan, an ordinary young traveller who found the hotel, Dracula must protect his daughter from falling in love with him. What do you think of this?
