Miley Cyrus, Olivia Wilde and More Take To Twitter to Celebrate Prop 8 Being Overturned
This Tuesday may become momentous day for the gay/lesbian movement and those support the idea that same-sex marriages should be legal especially within the state of California. A San Francisco federal appeals court ruled that Proposition 8 which bans same-sex marriages in California has been deemed against the U.S. Constitution.
Last year Miley Cyrus got a tattoo in support of the gay rights movement which had the former Disney star receiving a lot of flack for getting the tattoo, but she responded saying that it was no one’s right to judge and in regards to her religious upbringing she believes that God is Love. She took to Twitter to voice her opinion saying; “@NOH8Campaign we’re one step closer beautiful people 
#Prop8IsUnConstitutional.” Olivia Wilde also took to Twitter to celebrate the news saying that now the next step would be the Supreme court. Kelly Osbourne chimed in as well stating how happy she was to hear this news.
The ruling is a huge step for those in support of same sex marriage, but the ruling is only for the state of California. Those that are against the ruling are said to be appealing the issue but this does allow it to go forward to the Supreme Court. What do you think of the ruling?

I think people should be allowed to marry the same-sex person. It’s unfair that they can’t. I’m straight but I still support that. If anybody agrees post a comment that’s says ‘Same-Sex marriage should be allowed’. If I were lesbian and I couldn’t marry my girlfriend because of the law I would be mad. But like I said I’m not a lesbian and I support them. I live in California this comment should make a difference.
Miley isn’t a Christian and should stop saying stupid things. Homosexuality is a sin and God condemns it. Do the world a favor Miley and open up your Bible and read it. I am so sick of so called Christians running off at the mouth claiming God is love. The Bible teaches us about morals, right from wrong, Judgement, Heaven and Hell and Sin. Miley you need to get down on your knees and repent of your sins and ask God to forgive you for your bad behavior and being a horrible role model. Homo’s aren’t going to heaven and neither are you.
@rr I’m sorry you feel that way, but there is no need for you to be so rude. Maybe you are a “true” Christian, but I know that God does not approve of rudeness nor name calling. You have your opinions and others have theirs, and the world would be a much kinder place if people, such as yourself, refrained from expressing rude or offensive opinions.
