He went there to visit and see what his energy drink, Street King could do for them. He shared that it changed his life and inspired him to go back to the studio. Here is what he all had to say about the experience while being over there and what he learned from it.

It enlightened me in different ways, To actually see people under the circumstances that I saw was a totally different experience. I don’t think you can prepare yourself for that, no matter how many times you’ve seen the images. They have one meal a day, the same meal every dayThere’s nothing there — within their eyes and the way that they interacted with each other — that would indicate that they feel deprived in any way. They are the exact kids that you would see here, and that was so confusing. It made you want to pick them up and take them home with you, but you can’t. … So you have to do something that makes a difference

I love that he wanted to help out others. The fact that he has already reached over 3 million meals that he and his drink sales have provided is amazing. He really has a heart of gold and I do expect that he will be launching more charities over time for African countries and rest of the world. It is nice to see someone who is so dedicated to help others out. No wonder he is good friends with Eminem, who has also done a lot of charities work on big and small scales.

Do you support 50 Cent’s dream? I do and I might seek out his drink just to help out on purpose. He has proven himself to be worthy of having fans who want to buy a product of his. I have no doubt that he will return to Africa over time. It really seems like he is hoping to do a lot more for those people who are suffering there. So major kudos does belong to 50 Cent!
