Will Smith to Host Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards

Will Smith has been announced as the host for this year’s 25th Anniversary at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards.

The Oscar nominator will have to watch himself during the show as he may be the likely target to get slimed.  Nickelodeon exec Marjorie Cohn declared that there could be no better way to celebrate their 25th Anniversary then by having one of the biggest movie stars in the world.  He will certainly be a big name taking the stage to host the awards at the biggest, loudest, messiest spectacle in the show’s 25-year history.   Will certainly has enough of the Kid’s Choice Award blimps at home to fill a room and has long been his kid’s favorite to host the show.  Smith commented that the show “The Kids’ Choice Awards are always the year’s liveliest, slimiest and most outrageous party for kids and teens. I’m honored they wanted me to host this year so I can have a front row seat to take part in the fun.”

You can certainly expect Will’s news making kids Jaden, 13, and Willow, 11.  In 2011, Jaden was nominated in the Favorite Actor category for his role in the ‘Karate Kid”.  What do you think of Will Smith hosting the Kid’s Choice Awards?
