The Wonder Girls Release The DJ Is Mine Music Video

Korean pop band the Wonder Girls have already signed on for a new show and they have just released a duet with School Gyrls for “The DJ Is Mine”. The song will come out before the The Wonder Girls movie, which will debut on TeenNick on February 4th. The music video shows the two rival bands, but it also is a throwback to the 90s classic “The Boy is Mine” duet by Monica and Brandy. You will find the new music video down below.

I have to say that I love the idea of the song. I am just not sure what we can say about the video. It seemed to be weak in my opinion. I would think that their teams could have pulled more resources and give them a much more polished video. However, it does sort of force us to focus more on the song and that is always a plus for any singer.

Do you think that their music has a chance or not? I think that they could do well in terms of top 40, but I am not sure how well they can last because of the fickle music tastes of Americans. I hope that we can see them hang around and do decent, but I am not going to hold my breathe on it.
