Ross Lynch & Laura Marano’s Austin & Ally – Zaliens & Cloud Watchers Review
Austin & Ally‘s newest episode of the new year was called, “Zaliens & Cloud Watchers”. It was about Ally write a song that Austin was not crazy about. So he avoids singing it and hurts her feelings, which only forces those two to reconnect. During their time spent together, they realize that opposites do attract in some cases. But they don’t learn that until a feathered friend gets the duo in trouble. Can they keep the secret and learn to respect that they are different? Can they see that you do not have to be identical in order to be friends?
This show is slow to grow on me, but I did find myself laughing more with this episode. I don’t know if the writers just picked a better topic or if the stars grew into their roles. So I suppose you can say that the show grew on me. However. I should point out that I laughed at the cheesy stuff like when the boys played gold-fish with cheese. That was sort of pointless, but rich in humor. That is something that I think the show will grow on. I also want to add that their music is pretty decent as well and so all of that helps make the show have a wide appeal. Or at least that is how I view things regarding the show. Now on to this week’s hidden topic. I am pleased that they taught kids that you do not have to be friends with people who are just like you. Sometimes we all need a more open mind and see that as long the two have something in common, then it should work.
What do you think about the series? I still consider it pretty new, so I can’t say that it is doing all that well or not. But I do think that it is going pretty smooth for a show that has a slow start. I don’t see it getting canceled anytime soon, which is good news for everyone involved in the show. I am hoping that next week’s episode will be just as good if not better. And if anything, I think that they have a very good chance at becoming true. They seem to be getting their so-called “sea legs” and are proving that they are worthy of the Disney branding. With that boost of a fan base and decent storylines, I am sure that it will last at least the typical 4 seasons Disney grants them.

The show is growing on me a little too. Laura Marano’s experience and acting skills dwarf everybody else on the show.
