Lucy Hale Wants Zendaya To Be the Next Cinderella

Lucy Hale was the third star of Disney’s Cinderella story and around the time of her TV premiere of A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song she was asked about who should be the 4th Cinderella. She shared that since Hilary Duff, Selena Gomez, and now herself, she hopes for Zendaya Coleman to be the 4th one to star in the movie. Here is her exact words about it.

Oh my gosh, I don’t know! Oh, maybe one of the Shake It Up girls. They’re all so talented. I think Zendaya [Coleman] would be a good Cinderella.

Zendaya got wind of this and sent a lovely tweet to Lucy. Here is what she had to say.

So sweet!! I love Lucy Hale!!!

Lucy made a great suggestion. Zendaya certainly could play the role very well. I think she could make it her own and still allow everyone else shine through. I personally would love to see this become a reality. She certainly would make an amazing one. But Bella Thorne would also make a fun one; I just don’t think that I can picture her as Cinderella all that easily.
Are you happy that Lucy suggested Zendaya? Or do you think someone else should be the next Cinderella? I personally agree with Lucy, but I know not everybody will. So let us know what you think and let’s throw some other suggestions out there. I think they should also consider Shailene Woodley from The Secret Life of the American Teenager in my opinion. But my first choice is Zendaya.
