I am pleased that he talked about Michael Jackson, since we all know that he shaped the music industry. It is a nice way to honor someone who likely made it very possible for him to do what he loves. However, I am conflicted about a lifetime achievement award. Yes, he has been extremely blessed to have what he does have. I think he might have broken or set more records than most other child stars, so in the sense he has made a lifetime achievement. But beyond that, he is so young that I think they could have waited a while longer to give it to him. Then again, I suppose getting it while you are still in demand is the icing on the cake for him.
