The Hunger Games Still of Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss in the Reaping

IMDb just released a new photo of Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss from The Hunger Games at the reaping. This photo shows a glimpse at what it is like at the reaping. While some argue saying that this photo does match the description of Katniss, it is still a lovely photo. For those who are eager for the actual movie, you still have to wait until March 23rd before it opens nationwide.

I think that Jennifer really fits well as Katniss. Just because she doesn’t have olive skin like the book states she has, she seems to have the right acting skills or personality. She seems to be sporty and sassy, which I think is the key part of the role. I think looks are less important since most movies never have the actors look exactly like the characters they play, so we shouldn’t focus on that. It is more about her level of being able to connect with the actual character.

Do you think this photo is not the best? I like the picture and it upsets me that people are bashing it. The movie will speak for itself and we all know that. I personally cannot wait to see more picture stills. I have a feeling that we will see more and more as time goes before it opens up. So we better prepare for an overload of Hunger Games.
