Disney’s Shake It Up has introduced us to two talented teens Zendaya Coleman and Bella Thorne. Both stars can act, dance, and sing. Shake It Up fans can’t get enough of the show and they can’t get enough of the girls music either. Well now they don’t have to wait much longer!

Zendaya recently shared good news with her fans on Twitter. She told them that “Something To Dance For” will be released as a single in March:

great news!! #somethingtodancefor will be released as a single on March 6th!! soooo excited!!

She also mentioned that she and co-star Bella Thorne will star in the song’sofficial music video. The video will debut on Disney Channel on March 9th.

Bella Thorne’s single “Bubblegum Boy” featuring Pia Mia landed on number 3 for the Radio Disney’s top 3 songs.

What do you think of Zendaya’s and Bella’s new music careers? Do you think that one of them could be the next Miley Cyrus? I’m glad to see that they are expanding their careers with different projects and I think that it’s possible that either(or both) stars could become the next biggest teen sensation. Do you like Bella’s hit song “Bubblegum Boy” or do you prefer Zendaya’s “Something To Dance For”?

Great, another pair of manufactured products of Disney that need to sing, so they can boost up their image.

    • Ryan says:

I hear ya, Naomi. What ever happened to actors who wanted to just be nothing more than actors, or singers who want nothing more than to sing?

Emma Roberts is right; she almost went on a similar path, but chose to just be an actress. Her reason to do so was that she said because so many actresses need to sing and have albums, being a singer and actress is no longer special.

We used to find being a singer and actor special. Now, it’s just annoying. Thanks, Disney.

      • Damon Cap says:

Well I think it is just strictly about the money. They know a singer can make them more money with album releases and addition to the show. It is more about building a brand now a days.

  2. i am a big fan i wish i could dance like yeah……..

I think it’s more about branding and money. The music and television executives have found a template that works – really since the pop explosion since 1998…so that’s why every 3 years there is a new female, teenage, cute/pretty, triple threat, marketing campaign. They sell everything from clothes to songs. What we are really buying is their IMAGE!
