Finding Nemo Gets 3D Makeover for Fall

Disney has been on a kick releasing classics in 3D, like Beauty & the Beast 3D. But they are slowly working their way to more recent releases like Finding Nemo. Yes, they will be re-releasing it in 3D on September 14th. And we have the first 3D trailer for the upcoming release. This will be the first of their more recent movies to be re-released in 3D. You will find the trailer at the bottom of this post.

I am happy to see that Disney has been having enough success with their releases in 3D. However, I would think that sequels in 3D would make more sense. I would personally think that it would cost less since they would not have to render it to 3D. But I could be wrong about the cost. As long as they find success with it and keep on bring back the classics, then I see nothing wrong with it.

How do you feel about the Finding Nemo 3D? I like the concept, but I personally feel that they could have waited a while longer. It seems like that Disney should want to help breath new life into the older classics and Nemo isn’t all that old. So it seems like they might be breaking their branding history a little bit. Then again, it also a Pixar film so that might be why it is an exception. Are you hoping that they don’t release more recent titles after this one?
