Last night at the People’s Choice Awards, pop songstress Demi Lovato took home an award for Favorite Pop Artist. E!Online caught up with the talented teen for a brief chat and we have the clip for you below.

Congratulations for Demi! She’s certainly earned this award with her talent. Her current album Unbroken was a kind of a risk because it was personal. The two singles to come off the album include “Skyscraper” and “Give Your Heart A Break”, both songs feature Demi singing from her heart. Moreover, this album featured popular artists like Timbaland, Rock Mafia, Dev, Ryan Tedder, Dreamlab, and more. This album was anticipated and it certainly didn’t disappoint!

Do you think Demi Lovato earned this award or do you think someone else should have won? Were you happy with her performance on the People’s Choice Awards? I think it was awesome that she won and I wonder if this will lead her to a Grammy Award later on this year. I hope that this leads to bigger and better opportunities for her. Demi’s talent is really unique and uncompararable, and I think her fans love that she’s not one of the singers that come a dime a dozen.
