Demi Lovato Talks About Need of Friendship in Recover Process

Jan - 06 2012 | Sarah Peel | 1 comment

Demi Lovato has been hard at work with Seventeen magazine to give advice and help to girls like her. So at a luncheon with the magazine for her cover issue, she was interviewed about what girls can do. She goes into detail on how they need friends to support them and how they can help people recover. She has talked about how Selena Gomez was there for her, along with a few other stars. You can watch the good advice in the video down below.

I am pleased to see that she has been doing so much work in spreading the taboo topic of these issues. I think that we do need to be more open about them and I hope she can help usher that in. I agree with her that having friends around you in your time of need is vital. Who else will be holding your hand during some of the toughest moments in your life? Or who will understand you? No one but your best friend will.

How do you feel about Demi’s mission? Is it worthy for a magazine to take on such a big topic? I think so, since they do have so many young girls reading their magazine. Chances are that they do have girls with eating disorders and if Demi can help to save someone’s life, then I think she would feel honored. As she had said before, she was given these issues for a reason and she is going to turn something good

Thank you for posting the interview……And not only does she need good friends, but a Southern Gentleman from North Carolina would be cool. ( but I digress)
