Demi Lovato Accepts People’s Choice Award

While the People’s Choice Awards was last week this is the first time any images or video have been released of Demi Lovato accepting her award.  You can check out the video below of her acceptance speech below.

The people certainly raised their voice as Demi took home the award for ‘Favorite Pop Artist’.  Demi accepted the trophy saying “I dedicate this to you [fans], You guys are absolutely amazing. I love you guys so much.”  The ceremony highlights Hollywood figures in television, movies, and music was held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.  Lovato also took the stage in a cherry red gown and sang her recent single ” Give Your Heart A Break”.  The ‘Skyscraper’ singer also took part in some philanthropic initiatives by making her latest Public Service Announcement to focus on the homelessness issue among teens in the United States.

Lovato, who was nominated as one of the most involved celebrities of 2011 on DoSomething.org’s website, urges teens to get involved with the organization’s “Teen for Jeans” campaign.  Demi also gave her fans the surprise of a lifetime when she appeared on an 18-wheeler outside the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta last month, performing her latest single, ‘Give Your Heart a Break,’ VEVO GO’s concert series?  What do you think of Demi winning a PCA?
