David Henrie’s The Secret World of Arrietty Trailer

Disney is release an Anime movie called The Secret World of Arrietty. Bridget Mendler and David Henrie loan their voices for the cartoon, with Bridget giving her voice to Arrietty. Now we finally have the real trailer for it. You find the trailer down below and the actual movie coming out on February 17th.

I will be the first to tell you that I am not crazy about anime. But this concept seems to be more unique, so it might work out well. It did well in Japan and with Disney releasing it here; I can see that it could very well take a life on its own. I’ve seen the promo they had for it on Disney Channel, and it seems to be very much of typical kind of fairy tale. It just happens to be made as anime.

Are you excited for the movie? It sounds like it will be cute, and a good mix of Disney with anime. I do wonder if this will be the start of them doing more anime-based work? It seems like it would be a wise idea, but I suppose we can only guess by seeing how well this one sells. So far, it does sound like it has a bright future ahead of it.
