The Unofficial Hunger Games Cookbook

Every hit movie seems to have found a place among the foodies of the world, and while The Hunger Games has yet to make its first debut, it still has found its place among the food lovers of the world. Introducing the new book called The Unofficial Hunger Games Cookbook by Emily Ansara Baines, which gives real recipes for foods that were listed in the book. You can buy the book for around $13.00 at Amazon right now. It will make a perfect book for a fan of the series. Here is a sample list of what is included in the book.

French Bread from the Mellark Family Bakery
Katniss’s Favorite Lamb Stew with Dried Plums
Rue’s Roasted Parsnips
Gale’s Bone-Pickin’ Big Game Soup
Capitol-Grade Dark Chocolate Cake

It sort of reminds the book that was written by JK Rowling that was based on one of her fiction books that was based within the series of Harry Potter. While this one is not official book, I do think that it will certainly sell well. I will admit that I do wonder if the author will be sued over it though? Then again, she has made it clear that she wants people to know that her book is not official.

How do you feel about the cookbook? I am interested in seeing what they all have in it. But I do wonder why the official author did not write one? I would think that she would know how to cook them best since they were her ideas. It just seems sort of like stealing a possible idea from her that she could always do later on, in my opinion.

I say it’s fair… This does seem really interesting though.

I bought this, and it’s pretty cool. It has a few typos though
