The Hunger Games One Most Anticipated Movies for 2012

Movieline has listed The Hunger Games as one of the Most Anticipated Movies of 2012. This does not come as news since we all know that the movie has been talked about for a long time now. However, this is further proof of just how popular the movie will be and has been with fans of action packed movies. Here is what Movieline had to say about the movie.

March 23: Fangirl civil war erupts as The Hunger Games makes its first incursion against the creaky, sparkly Twilight empire. The rest of us, faced only with the sad counterprogramming spectacle of A Thousand Words, flee to art-house refugee camps nationwide.

Before you freak out, it is reported that the whole list is full of semi-mean comments like this, so it is not just an attack on the movie. However, I will say that I doubt the snaky comments will win Movieline new fans over it. But I guess they may not realize just how diehard some fans are. Otherwise, they would likely avoid writing such loud comments about movies.

How do you feel about this news and their comments? I find their comments a bit tacky, even if they are trying to be funny. It just seems to be a bad move on their half. Plus it takes away some of the value they gave the movie in their list. Or at least that is how I view it. If I were them, I would not want to risk making their fans angry.
