Taylor Swift Is Up For Les Miserables Role

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift might be known for her country music and now her perfume, but she also wants to try her hand at acting again. She already starred in Valentine’s Day, and now is rumored to be up for a part in the film adaptation of Les Miserables. Rumors are around that Taylor is up for the role of Eponine. She has reportedly auditioned for it, along with Lea Michele, Evan Rachel Wood and Scarlett Johansson. Supposedly, all 4 of them are currently being considered for the role as of now.

Taylor certainly has a lot of goals and I think that is so important for people to have. Even if she does not land this role, I am sure she will be able to land so many more in the future. She has proved that she can act, even if her role was so small and minor. It counts and her level of fame would be good for the movie as well. Then again, so are the other 3 stars who are being considered for the role.

Do you think that Taylor should get the job? I do. I think she would likely do well with it and also it would give her a whole new experience. It would be fun and at the same time, it would provide her with a real idea about what acting is like. It seems like it would be ideal for her at this point.

Taylor is SO wrong for this part. She is great at what she does but she does not have the voice for Eponine and does not have the acting (chops). Lea Michele is the best fit , in voice, appearance and in acting. No to mention that Lea has played the part before.

I adore Taylor Swift and know that she is one of the most talented individuals in music today. Taylor loves a challenge and gives everything she does a 100%, good enough isn’t enough for her, she wants to make it perfect. Unfortunately, this role just isn’t in her wheelhouse, and she’d kill herself with disappointment in striving for perfection.

The only one of those being considered that could bring the role what it needs is Lea Michelle, who though I don’t care for her as a person, has the experience, voice and understanding of the role. Evan and Scarlett may be better film actors but their voices are not in the same sphere as Lea’s.

Oh hell no! I like Taylor as a country singer but Eponine needs to be given to someone that can carry the role. Lea Michele was born to play her. Eponine is one of, if not the, most important role to cast. Sorry, but Taylor just doesn’t cut it.
