Selena Gomez Performs at the Jingle Ball

Selena Gomez certainly sparkled on stage at the 107.9 The End’s 2011 Jingle Ball held at the Power Balance Pavilion in Sacremento California on Thursday night.

The 19 year old singer/actress took stage in ruby red heels and in a mini- Santa like outfit.  Selena also revealed on stage that one of her inspirations is Katy Perry.  She mentioned that Katy has been really wonderful and really good to her and she has even given two songs of hers so in honor of the singer she sang her rendition of the One That Got Away.  You can check out the video of the performance below.  Selena Gomez has signed on to act in “Spring Breakers”, a new movie by avant-garde director Harmony Korine.  Gomez will star alongside James Franco, Emma Roberts and another Disney star, Vanessa Hudgens, in the movie about a college girl who robs a restaurant with a group of friends to fund their spring break getaway.

Gomez is likely to ring in the New Year with boyfriend Justin Bieber, since both are slated to perform in New York City on New Year’s Eve.  The 19-year-old former Wizards of Waverly Place star announced on Friday that she is scheduled to perform at MTV’s New Year’s Eve bash, the same night Bieber, 17, is appearing on Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve over on ABC.  What do you think of Selena’s performance?
