Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart have won millions of hearts due to their great acting in the Twilight Saga, and now they are getting attention for their studio’s wallets. The list is based on how much money the actors return to the studio that produced their films. Forbes Top Actors for the Buck list has placed both of them in the top 5. Kristen Stewart sits pretty at number 1, while her on-screen and real life sweetheart is at number 3. I am shocked that both of them sit above Daniel Radcliffe on the list. He has had way more movies under his belt and has been acting longer in a big time movie. However, his movies did not exactly have the same fan base of squealing girls either. I will admit though that it is nice to see that he is in fourth place. As for the other stars, I am not surprised that they are on the list.
Do you think that Daniel should be higher than both Rob and Kristen? I know a lot of Harry Potter fans do not like Twilight, so I suppose that most will be upset. Then again, I am a fan of both and I am kind of surprised by the results.

ugh.. The Twilight movies are entertaining but come on, I can act better than Kristen Stewart. How is it possible she’s way ahead of Kate Blanchett. Just like music, it seems we don’t really know talent anymore..
I totally agree. Actually, Kristen Whatever- is only famous because her parents are directors/ in the acting business. Her bad acting is the entire reason that I refuse to watch twilight movies- I love the books though!
Wanda, that is not really quite true. I believe both work behind the scenes in film but neither are directors. Kristen is an excellent actress whether or not you love her performances as Bella. Check out some of her other films.

This article wasn’t explained very well. It is about how much money the actor returns on each dollar spent on their respective movie. There are much better articles on it elsewhere. It’s all about the money, not talent, although I think the Twilight movies are entertaining and apparently so do many, many others.

This has to do with the amount of money all of the films they made this past year made at the box office compared to their salary. It isn’t about acting ability or even the quality of the films. It is about box office drawing power. Kristen and Rob have both been in the wildly successful Twilight films but also made other films that were well received such as Water for Elephants. What else has Daniel appeared in this year on film other than Harry Potter. Rob’s salary was comparatively low for Remember Me but it did quite well at the boxoffice for a low budget drama. Water for Elephants was really well done with other big name actors. Both Kristen and Rob did quite well. I personally love the Twilight films and have seen all of them multiple times at the theater before purchasing the DVDs of those available.

These numbers are based on how much the actors respective movies make at the box office and how much their salary was. The higher the box office intake compared to a lower actor wage per movie is what these numbers are based on. When you take that into consideration, it’s not surprising that Daniel is further down the list than Rob and Kristen because Daniel received more money for Deathly Hallows 2 than Rob and Kristen did for Breaking Dawn 1. So while Rob and Kristen each made 12.5 million for BD1, Daniel made 20 million for DH2…. So I don’t see why any Harry Potter fans would be upset over this. It’s only because WB paid the Harry Potter cast more money than Summit paid the Twilight cast.
