The Hunger Games fans can be excited since we have a new READ poster featuring Katniss, Peeta, and Gale. The poster appears to be for the American Library Association (ALA). However, I cannot confirm that despite they have other READ posters with stars from movies on the posters. Also, China Glaze has announced that they will release a line of nail polishes that are based off the series. The line will be called Colors from the Capital. It will come out on March 1, 2012. You will find the press release down below and as of yet no photos of the collection have been released yet.

This is great news for everybody tied to the movie and series. It seems like they are getting bigger and bigger each day. I am not sure how much bigger it can get from now?! It seems like news is coming out of the woodwork everyday, you would think new promotional options would slowly be closing their doors since it so close to being released.

Are you happy about this news? I am interested to see how the colors come out? I would assume a lot of dark colors since the book is dark, but if they solely base it on the characters and love of wild looks, that would be about right. Or they could do a mixture of both. That would be ideal in my opinion. But I am a sucker for nail polishes, so I would be looking forward to see what they came up with. What do you think the colors will be like?

SANTA MONICA, CA (December 9, 2011) – Lionsgate announces that it has partnered with worldwide beauty brand China Glaze on a collection of nail polish to debut in conjunction with the March 23, 2012 release of THE HUNGER GAMES.

In keeping with the powerful themes and messages of the story, the collection of nail polish will be inspired exclusively by one of the book’s distinct settings- the Capitol of the nation of Panem. Awash in lavish fashion, food, and entertainment, Capitol citizens enjoy extreme cosmetics and body modifications, bold wigs, and outlandish costumes.

The collection of colors will be available at specialty beauty retailers beginning on March 1, 2012.
