Miley Cyrus Sings ‘The Climb’ at CNN Heroes
Miley Cyrus appeared at the 2011 CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday and performed her hit song ‘The Climb’.
The event celebrates ‘everyday people changing the world’. Miley was spotted in the beautiful yellow dress on the red carpet with her off-again/on-again boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, but she changed into a royal blue dress for the rendition of the 2009 tune. The 19-year-old was accompanied by a band, but the arrangement was minimal, letting the star’s voice shine through. In the background images of modern day heroes were displayed on the screen which provided a moving visual while Miley sang. She definitely was looking mature on stage and put forth a strong vocal performance. Although the ‘The Climb’ originally appeared as the lead single of ‘Hannah Montana: The Movie,’ Miley has since performed it at several special events, given its inspirational nature.
She also recently sang the song at the annual The Trevor Project’s – Trevor Live benefit. You can check out Miley’s performance below. It was also reported that Miley Cyrus attended the American Giving Awards that took place last Friday in Los Angeles, California and this was a great event to bring celebrities and charity workers together.
