Meet Selena Gomez & Miley Cyrus In Plastic

Disney has launched a new product line called Disney V.I.P, which are dolls based on a select few of their popular show characters. Like their popular Hannah Montana doll based on Miley Cyrus’ past character or Alex from Wizards of Waverly Place based on Selena Gomez, they also have one of dolls of Sharpay, Rocky and CeCe, but the two most outstanding ones are based on 2 of Disney’s most famous shows ever. They come with V.I.P cards that allow the owners to access special features online. They are being sold via Amazon and Toys R Us now.

I can see why they have dolls for Alex and Hannah, but I am really surprised that hey do not have one for Sonny from Sonny with a Chance?! Clearly, Miley’s show has been over for almost a year now and Demi hasn’t been off the show that long (though some say that a doll of her was planned, then scratched after she left the series). So it just seems to not be very logical. However, I do suppose they could always add her to the line in the future. Maybe we can organize a campaign to make that happen? I think that would be another great way to show our support for Demi.

Do you like the doll line and if you could add any Disney character (from past or current) to the collection, who would it be? I already said that they should have one of Demi’s character or maybe one of Lizzy McGuire? That would be a fun throw back to the days of her show. But I realize that they only want to release dolls that they feel with actually sell. So I doubt a Lizzie doll would do well now.
