Joe Jonas In Funny Skit for The Soup

E!’s funny show The Soup highlights the past week’s pop culture has just released their app, which gives fans a look at this weeks news on mobile devices. So they asked Joe Jonas to do a funny commercial for the app. Joe is starts off being on the couch and watching the show, then sees the app brought out by his “mom” and jumps in it. It then gets strange, but funny with a slight flare. You can watch the cute “commercial” in the video below.

I will admit that I do find this commercial cute, even though I am not really a supporter of Joe. I do think that this proves that he has a sense of humor, which I feel like some celebrities do not show often. Then again, I do think that he wants to prove that he is more than just a former child star. However, I think it will take a little longer before he will shed that image. While he is on the right track, I do think he wants to be taken more seriously that much sooner that most can. In the mean time, we can still support him and watch him grow into something bigger over the next year or so.

Do you like this more mature Joe or do you miss his Disney days? I think that taking his career slower was a smart move for him. After years of being so popular, he can finally go back to a semi normal life and I am sure that is a nice break. However, I am sure that he likely wants to be able to become popular once again soon enough. It is likely hard to go from being on top of the world to being not so talked about.
