Jaden Smith & Jennifer Lawrence In Forbes 30 under 30 Entertainment List

By on December 24, 2011

Jennifer Lawrence and Jaden Smith are consider the some of the Top 30 under 30 for Entertainment by Forbes. The list is broken down into sub list and we see a few select faces that we all know. But most of the list appears to be about those who run the entertainment business to a degree. Jane Levy and Shailene Woodley were also listed. However, for those who are curious for the whole 30, here it is for you to take a gander at. As far as I can see, the list is not in any order.

Donald Glover
Nina Arianda
Brandon Beck
Chris Bell
Terry Cavanagh
Chris Chaney
Drake Doremus
Lena Dunham
Chris DeLeon
Sean Durkin
David Ellison
Jonah Hill
LeBron James
Brian Gainor
Megan Ellison
Lauryn Kahn
Jennifer Lawrence
Max Landis
Eric Kuhn
Natalie Lent
Andrew Luck
Jane Levy
Chloe Moretz
Sean Plott
Jaden Smith
Akira Thompson
Caroline Wozniacki
Elizabeth Swensen
Shailene Woodley

I will admit that I always enjoy these lists, but more than half the time I do not recognize the names on the list. This year’s one is the perfect example. I wouldn’t consider owners of a hit game as a top person in the entertainment business. That seems to be a little confusing, in my opinion. I mean, one hit wonders are not considered successes and you never know how some of these people will luck out with future projects.

Do you agree with Forbes on this list or not? I am surprised that some of the bigger names like Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber are not on this list; while I understand they might want to keep the list with not so famous names, but it just feels to be more random this year than anything else. However, it is nice to see that some non-celebrities did get the honor, so I suppose you can say that it is a give and take at the very least.
