Honor Society Works With Salvation Army For Rock The Red Kettle

Now that we’re officially in the holiday season, many non-profit groups are working hard to ensure a wonderful holiday for all. Salvation Army has their Rock The Red Kettle tour where artists spend their days on volunteer projects and cap off their evenings with a cool concert.

The band that headlines this year’s tour is Honor Society and they were super cool enough to film a video segment called “Doing The Most Good”. This video will show a closer look at what they’re doing and hopefully inspire other young people to do the same. Later on December 17, the band will join other musicians at Universal City Walk(located in Universal City near Los Angeles) for a special event. Other performers that night include Hanson, Greyson Chance, Colbie Caillat, Drake Bell, and Cody Simpson.

I think Rock The Red Kettle sounds awesome and I think it’s great that Honor Society is volunteering with them. It’s important to remember to think about those less fortunate. If we cannot take the time most of the year to help those in need, then the Christmas/holiday season provides a perfect reason to volunteer. Are you going to attend the show later on this week? If you can’t make it, Cambio will provide live streaming of the event starting at 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time. In the mean time, check out the video below!
