First Poster of Cosmopolis Featuring Robert Pattinson

Check out the first poster image of Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson in his Cosmopolis role.

The film which will be directed by David Cronenberg as is an adaptation of a Don DeLilio novel and casts Robert Pattinson in the head role as Eric Packer a multimillionaire traipsing across Manhattan in search of a decent haircut.  Throughout the day, Eric loses incredible amounts of money for his clients by betting against the rise of the yen.  Of course the film is far more then that, there will be deep-rooted discussions about sex, vulnerability and the damage inflicted by father-son conflicts.  The story also promises to have long stretches of Pattinson in a luxurious limo as he gambles on the financial futures of himself and those close to him.  This will also be another role he is trying outside of the Twilight franchise.

Pattinson is making bold casting decisions as he reaches to be outside of his role as the Twilight heartthrob . Cosmopolis will be in theaters in 2012. It co-stars Paul Giamatti, Juliette Binoche, Samatha Morton and Jay Baruchel. What do you think of the poster?  Will you be checking out Robert in his new role?
