Disney XD Introduces Special Content On XBox Live

Disney XD is releasing special content for fans who own the Xbox 360 console with Xbox Live The program started today. It will air special episodes of Disney television shows like Phineas & Ferb, Pair of Kings, Kick Buttowski – Suburban Daredevil, Kickin’ It, Zeke and Luther, What’s Up Warthogs, Baxter, Connor Undercover, Life With Derek, and I’m In The Band.

The senior vice president Domenic Vivolo explained it, “With Kinect for Xbox 360 and through Xbox Live, we are able to deliver the Disney XD experience in a way that truly resonates with its target audience. The Disney XD presence on Xbox Live is a fantastic opportunity for families to sample what the brand has to offer and for Astral to expand its presence across new distribution platforms.” Viewers will also be able to access special information in real time.

It is a good thing that Disney XD is letting Xbox Live Gold members access the content for free instead of charging them extra. The only thing I don’t understand is why one would think Disney should have television shows with crude names such as Kick Buttowski-Suburban Daredevil, although it may be the television shows are just fine and are family oriented.
