Demi Lovato Names Next Single As Give Your Heart a Break
Demi Lovato has unveiled her next single, which will be “Give Your Heart A Break”. It will be performed live at MTV’s New Year’s Eve Bash and will come out on iTunes around the same time. This does not come as a surprise since Demi has expressed her love for it and her fans have followed suit. Demi has made it clear that this album is to show a different side of her and she has done that thus far. Demi will also be co-hosting the show, so it will be a big night for her December 31st.
I am hoping that Demi releases a song about her own life for the next single after this one. I really enjoyed “Skyscraper” and I think she could do a lot more good with similar singles. If Kelly Clarkson can carve out a niche where she does most songs about breakups, then Demi can carve out a niche where she sings about hope. She clearly has the power and message behind it, so she would be the perfect star for that in my opinion.
How do you feel about her choice for the next single? It seems to be very radio friendly, which I am sure that is party why they chose it. But I do think that a more edgy song would really shape up the album’s promotion. I understand that she likely feels like she already poured her heart out with “Skyscraper”, but it would round off this album nicely in my opinion.

This is the song she sang twice at the suprise out door show during the tour stop in Atlanta. I could not afford the V I P 250.00 dollar meet and greet tickets , she comes outside and I end up one foot from her. But she was singing not there to sign autographs. Still it will be forever etched in my memory. The people I was with said ” dude she looked straight at you several times” … I was too stunned to even wave. And dang it I swear on my land I was going to get a big thing of flowers that day for her if I had them then I could easily handed them to her.
