Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber & Lady Gaga Listed As 2011′s Biggest Givers
Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and Justin Bieber are named as some of the most giving celebrities according to DoSomething.org. This comes as no surprise since we all have seen or heard about the 3 doing massive amounts of good. However, they are not the only ones that were included. DoSomething.org’s Top 20 Celebs Gone Good include Miley Cyrus, Lea Michele, Demi Lovato and Daniel Radcliffe as well. It appears that Hollywood has gone all out this year to DoSomething.org. Here is the full list.
20:Taylor Swift
19:Coldplay
18:Miley Cyrus
17:Daniel Radcliffe
16:Lea Michele
15:Nick Cannon
14:Miranda Lamber & Blake Shelton
13:Will.i.am
12:Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore
11:Shakira
10:Demi Lovato
9:Dwight Howard
8:Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt
7:Elle Degeneres
6:Matt Damon
5:Lenoard DiCaprio
4:Will Smith & Jada Pinkett-Smith
3:George Clooney
2:Justin Bieber
1:Lady Gaga
I am surprised that Gaga was listed as number 1. I thought for sure that Justin would have been named as number 1. I am pleased to see that Demi got some attention for her work. While you might argue that her charity work does not bring happiness per se, I believe that it does in the long run since it can save lives. I personally feel that she should be number 1 for that, but I know this is about more money being spent than what has actually been done with the charity.
How do you feel about the list? It is a decent one, listing many of the stars we all know that they should. They also gave some stars rankings that could surprise you, such as Miley Cyrus or Taylor Swift, two stars who we know that give a lot back to the community. However, I suppose it can pale to Justin or Gaga, since both of them seem to have the hottest music careers right now.

miley and taylor and other celebs gives back, but the’re not telling it to the media.you do charity but don’t announce it.
that’s the real charity.giving but not letting others especially the mdia knows it.
I agree. It shouldn’t be about money spent, it should be about the work being put in, and Demi Lovato is a clear winner for that. She’s saved so many lives just by speaking out… She has my respect.
