David Archuleta’s Music Video for Wait Finally Released
David Archuleta has just finished his holiday tour and released a new music video for “Wait”. The track is featured in the East Asia edition of The Other Side of Down. The music video is a sad one, where you can see hi m grieving over someone he lost. You can watch the full video down below, but be warned that you will want tissues with you when you watch it.
I am happy to see that David is still releasing new music and enjoying life. He really deserves to be where he is now. I am hoping that he will do a regular tour next year, but I am not sure if that is in the books or even possible. He seems to enjoy taking breaks between things, which thus far he has been able to do. However, he has the possibility of becoming a much bigger hit than he is now. The real question is if that is what he wants or does he just want to keep doing it his way, for the love of music? Either way I support him, but it would be nice to know his plan and choice.
Do you like the video? It is a tearjerker, but he is really good at those. Maybe he can release a happy song next because that would change things up and also show us that he has some more depth to him. However, he seems to love doing slower songs and that has made him famous. Though that will not keep me from hoping for a more upbeat music from him in the near future.

I sort of disagree with this article in that I believe David knows he’s better at the slow songs but, being young, wants to please his young fans by doing the peppy songs. I think its the wrong move for him…………he should sing the ballads. Stick with what got you up to runner up on Idol……..the young people loved him there. . Happy Birthday, David!!!!!!
Love the video but David won’t be seen for 2 years cause he’ll be going on a mission for the LDS church! I want David to come knocking on my door but doubt they’ll let him serve in the U.S. Good luck sweetie, I’ll miss you!
David has done upbeat songs. Something bout Love? That was the video right before this one and it’s pretty peppy. And right after that was Elevator which was also very upbeat although it had no video. In fact, the whole Other Side of Down album was upbeat and peppy. As far as what he’ll do next and if he’ll tour, David is planning on leaving for a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the early part of next year. He’ll be gone for two years, but he’ll be back to doing music in 2014.
