Create Hello Kitty Fitness Apparel – Sanrio Teamed Up With ASICS

Hello Kitty appeals to grown women just as much as young girls. Maybe this is why Sanrio(the company behind the Kawaii-inspired feline) has teamed up with ASICS to create fun fitness gear for today’s youthful fashionista. Their most recent line is the “Run With Hello Kitty” collection which is exclusive for holiday 2011.

This collection includes a baseball-style cap, hooded zip front jacket, tee shirt, racerback camisole, arm warmers, sweat capri pants with elastic waistband, and athletic shoes. Available in pink/black or ice blue/black, each item features geometric patterns with Hello Kitty. You can check out the collection below.

Jim Monahan(vice president of the footwear division for ASICS America corporation) had this to say about the super chic collection:

With Sanrio’s help, we want to capture a new consumer group who has never used our products nor had an interest in working out or running. This collaboration is a starting point to grab their attention and promote a healthier lifestyle while also igniting the kid in all of us.
