Burger King Changes Fries

Burger King is now having it their own way, or at least with fries. They recently announced that they will be selling thicker and crunchier fries starting on December 5th. The news comes at also most a year ago that Wendy’s changed their own fries and as pressure remains the same for healthier options. The prices will stay the same, but the fries will not. They shared that this was the only option that they found to actually work for them. Here is what they stated about the fries.

We’re always trying to have the best menu possible. French fries are a big seller for us and we want to make sure we’re always improving, This, by far, was the winner.

The past few years we have seen fast food change and it looks like it will stay as the current trend. Many parents and other groups have gotten on fast food for their unhealthy ways, but what it really comes down to as choice. However, you never hear much about that. I suppose we can all relax and enjoy thicker fries, though. Since I am sure, we will be hearing a lot about them, including the upcoming promotion for them on the 16th of December.

How do you feel about fast food changing? I think that we can all agree that some think that it is for the better. I personally feel that people just need to learn to say no and go back to the basics. While there is nothing wrong with that they are doing, I don’t think it is fair that they feel the need to keep up the fight with the other fast food places as of now.

I just had some and the next time I want to eat cardboard I will go to BurgerKing. This was not a good idea on their part. Not sure where they did the test marketing at but they better go back to the old fries before they lose stockholders.
