Some of the nominations are surprising while many more are not. I am very happy that Adele has a roster of nominations and I’m quite surprised that Lady Gaga‘s “You and I” wasn’t nominated for song of the year. What I like about the Grammy Awards as opposed to say, the MTV Video Music Awards, is that these awards are more about the music and less as much about the “popularity” factor. Are you going to check out the 2012 Grammys?
