War Horse Promo Photos

DreamWorks’ War Horse may not come out until the 25th of December, but they are promoting the heck out of it. We just got the first look at the official poster and now 4 photo stills as well. You will be able to see the stills down below at the bottom of this post. The film is about a horse and owner get separated during a war.

I am going to say that it sounds like this movie will be way too depressing for my own personal taste. What I really do not understand is how they can release such a depressing movie on Christmas. That seems to be out of line for the season; they could have certainly delayed or rushed for an earlier release. I would like to think that a family company like DreamWorks would see that and know that this is not the season for sad stories.

Are you planning to see the movie? I am not excited for it. I just think some things like sad stories about animals should be left out of family shows. It just is too upsetting for kids and even some adults. We all know that things like this happen, but do we really need it from Hollywood as well? I certainly would say no.
