Taylor Swift Makes Homemade Snow Globes

Taylor Swift is bringing out her creative style and since Christmas is her favourite holiday, she is into the spirit with her friends.  Over Thanksgiving weekend, the country star and her pals took on a DIY project of making snow globes.

This project turned out so well that the Mine singer posted a picture of the entire collection on her Facebook page.  If you ever wondered how to make your own snow globes here is your quick instructions.  All you need is a glass jar, a plastic or ceramic figurine, glycerin, hot glue or epoxy, some water and globe.  What you do is glue the figure onto the inside of the jars lid and if you want to get really fancy you can make a base out of rocks or any other non-rusting material being sure to glue it all down.  Fill the jar with water leaving about a half inch at the top so there will be some air to help move the `snow` around.  What you do is add about a teaspoon of glitter or more depending on the size of the jar and add just a bit of glycerin.

The glycerin helps the glitter from falling too fast, but too much can make the glitter stick to the jar.  Place your lid on the jar and seal tight, adding a little bit of glue or epoxy around the edge of the sealed lid to keep water from leaking. And voila! You’ll have your very own homemade snow globe, just like Taylor.  Will you be making your own snow globe.
