Katy Perry’s “The One That Got Away” music video will premiere on Ellen DeGeneres Show this Friday(November 11) but we got the trailer for you below.

“The One That Got Away” will be the single single that was release from Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream and features cinematic direction from Floria Sigismondi(who’s previous work can be seen on The Runaways and Perry’s other video E.T.). The video clip for this song looks interesting as it shows the emotional side of love and heartbreak in a relationship.

In all honesty, the new single is alright but I prefer her previous hit songs like “E.T.” and “Teenage Dream”. I can’t wait to see where the video for this song goes and perhaps I may even learn to really like the song if I see the music video enough. Musically, Katy Perry will go far. She’s got more than the talent and personality, she’s also got great video making ideas. I think that if she wasn’t currently a pop star, she might consider working as a creative director for other music videos.
