Disney Junior

A Disney Junior Holiday Programming Guide. Starting on Friday, December 2nd, on Disney Junior.com/Holiday, a new game from “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” will begin. It is the “Hook’s Merry Winter Treasure Hunt. Kids and parents can aid Captain Hook and Mr. Snee look for Jake and the crew’s lost presents. On Saturday, December 17th, the site will show “Imagination Movers”, a holiday story of “A Little Elf Esteem” before its debut on Disney Junior.

There will be five stories over the month on Disney Junior. These stories are “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” on Friday, December 2nd at 8:30 a.m. At 8:55 a.m. it is “Minnie’s Bow-Toons. “On Friday, December 16th, it is “Handy Manny” at 7:00 a.m. On Friday, December 23rd “Imagination Movers” is on at 7:30 a.m. And on Friday, December 30th “Handy Manny” is on at 7:00 a.m.

None of these holiday stories on Disney Junior are really Christmas stories. They are very secular. Then the stories don’t have the beautiful snow scenes with churches in the background. It seems to me that Christmas has turned into a silly, meaningless exercise. One doesn’t hear Merry Christmas very often and hear old religious Christmas carols anymore. This makes it seem like the true meaning of the season is gone.
