Gossip Girl Renewed For A Sixth Season?
Cast and crew of Gossip Girl can breathe a huge sigh of relief as the CW show has been renewed for a sixth season.
While there had been a lot of talk that the CW show would be getting the the axe as their ratings had been rather dismal as of late, but Gossip Girl is not the only show to be suffering in the ratings as of late. Several hit shows have been seeing a decline in ratings these days but the executive producers commented that they have not heard anyone telling them to pack it up. Even Warner Bros. Television Peter Roth had mentioned that he hoped Gossip Girl would be around for another season. But it may be a good thing that the show will be around for another season as it has been hinted that this fifth season finale would end in a cliffhanger.
It would have been pretty ballsy to end a season with a cliffhanger especially if it may be the final season, but there are no worries on being left with some juicy morsel without any bit of resolution. Gossip Girl’s 100th episode is approaching. It’s set to air Jan. 30th and will at last feature Blair’s royal wedding to Prince Louis. What do you think of Gossip Girl getting another season?

I hate the idea of the show getting a sixth season. Its become ridiculous. They need to start tying up the stories and then things might be better, less tedious and more entertaining. They also need to start going back to the core of Gossip Girl with the Chuck/Blair, Blair/Serena and Serena/Dan relationships, more cast interactions and less guest stars. Or maybe treat guest stars as guest stars don’t give them more stories then the mains especially when the guest stars are horrible (looking at you Louis).
This is not legit, you paraphrasing what the producer of the show Joshua Safran and Peter Roth said last week at the Gossip Girl party!! No confirmation till February !!
Hello mrs Lisa with all do respect to you I completely disagree with you because if the show will go back the same chuck Blair blair Serena and so on people will get bored and will get less ratings than now I love to watch gossip girl it’s one of my fave show and I love it how they do the twists it’s nicer and more I interesting I agree wiz u on one thing I love to see chuck and Blair together . GOSSIP GIRL ROX and Iam happy to see it renewed for another season

And I disagree with Sarah! Mrs Sarah, people are getting bored now, when they watch Blair/Louis relationships… And they’ve already got less ratings especially when compared with ratings of previous seasons and it’s because of people want to see Chuck and Blair happy together and Serena/Dan finally reunion…
